perhaps the most panoramic situation of any market in Scotland,
this splendid market has so much to offer, a magnificent
selection of produce from all over Scotland, near by parking,
wonderful shopping in the Lomond Shores Gateway Centre, picnics
areas and restaurants. It is a great tourist attraction and
makes a great day out from Glasgow and surrounding towns.
1st Wednesday of each month, 10am - 2pm.Douglas Street, Tel:
01436 679882. Another very important weekday market, which
is being extremely well supported by the local people, A wide
variety of producers from all over Scotland in a splendid
central position give this market a tremendous traditional
atmosphere. With Milngavie being the start and finish of the
West Highland Way, is a great market for walkers to stock up
with local healthy food.
Stirling Farmers' Market
2nd Saturday of each month, 9am - 2pm, Maxwell Place, Tel:
01877 330151. A very busy and well organised market, with a
superb cross section of producers from all over central
Scotland, it is within easy access of the main streets and car
parks. There is always a splendid family atmosphere and is well
supported by the locals.
Bridge of Allan Farmers' Market
1st Sunday of the Month in May, June, September and
December,12md-4pm Fountain Road Tel: 01877 330151. There are so
many nice shops and places to eat in Bridge of Allan and the
market has such a splendid variety of producers including
wonderful Highland Beef, Beer form the local brewery, raspberry
dinks, Venison and home baking, that a visit to this market
makes a really good day out.
2nd Sunday of each month except January, 11am-4pm, High
Street, organised by Falkirk & District Town Centre Management
Ltd, Tel:01560 600184. One of the 1st markets to run on a
Sunday, held in the pedestrian precinct of Falkirk High Street,
this really vibrant market has so much to offer. Producers from
all over central Scotland sell a wide range of produce
including cakes, beef, lamb,pork,venison, smoked foods and
vegetables, The organisers commitment to advertising has made
this market an on going success and well worth a visit.
Kilsyth Farmers' Market
1st Saturday of each month, 9am - 2pm,Main street, Tel: 01236
826818. Organised by Kilsyth Community Council to help bring the
heart back into the town centre, it did just that. This market
is all about the community and community spirit, it is vibrant,
fun, with a delightful cross section of producers which has
helped to make it the success that it is today.
3rd Wednesday of each month, 10am - 2pm, The Precinct
Tel;014366 79882. This was the 1st market to be held in Scotland
on a weekday and what a success it has turned out to be.
Producers from all over central Scotland sell their produce in
this lovely safe environment off the High Street, with a large
car park near by it is an ideal for the keen shopper.
Sterling Mills Farmers' Market
4th Sunday of each month, 11am - 4pm or until sold out the
market is held at Sterling Mills, Tillicoultry, in the shopping
precinct of the designer outlets. For further information please

produce from some of Scotland's finest producers including, beef
,lamb, Venison, pork, smoked produce, seasonal fruit and
vegetables, confectioery,home baking,liqueurs and much more,
situated in the heart of Stirling Mills and surrounded by
exciting retail outlets it will make a super day out for the
family.
